the room had an amazing view of the park every day. the bathroom was too small.

Excellent location, spacious room, staff is friendly!

"Tired" repair, dirty...

The view from the roof was definitely a highlight of the stay. The staff were a pleasure to deal with. The room contained all the required appliances for a short stay.

It was a good price for the location but the class of the hotel was not worth the price. I am to understand that it is the price primarily due to the location. The elevators really portrayed the impression that they had not been serviced for a considerable amount of time. The reverse cycle did not seem to heat the room well and the TV did not have the Digital channels.

Positive, Loved the location! We had a spacious studio with a great view of the park. The rooftop pool and gym were a real treat! Perfect for a relaxed stay.

Location - marvellous and stunning, adjacent to Museum or St James Station and Close to oxford st hyde park. Quick check in and late check out...

Very central location and walking distance to a train station. In the local area with pubs and a stadium walking distance to the hotel. Heated pool, parking onsite. No charge for housekeeping, wake up calls and ironing too....  

The view over Hyde Park was fantastic, but the room needed maintenance and felt outdated.

The room was spacious and bathed in warm winter sunshine, with a large bed and excellent kitchen amenities. A highlight was the beautiful view of Hyde Park from the room.

When we arrived we were given a used room it had not been cleaned from the night before when I told reception they said that house keeping said it was clean. They also took a copy if my credit card and withdrew $ 150 per room. Only to be told that it would be credited in other couple of days. We were given another too but not on the same floor as the guest we were staying with

Fresh blood on sheets like one of the housekeepers had cut their hand or something, and at the time we requested them changed the hotel staff didn't have access to clean sheets. They gave us a mattress protector to use as a top sheet. TV didn't have reception, staff weren't overly helpful. Hotel and furniture seemed very dated, old and tired for the money we paid. Poor value for money

closeness to all attractions

Had advertised buffet breakfast but had stopped it over a month ago. Rooms discription and pictures not the same as expected.

THe Location and convenience is top. The staff are excellent and very obliging.

I have stayed at the hotel three times. The partial renovation is good but full renovation needs to be completed. i.e new windows /double glazed/ tinted.This would cure the noise problem and there would be no need for nets then.New TVs.Better maintenance. Otherwise very good.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Sydney. The unit was spacious, and we enjoyed our time relaxing together.

My wife says that the maintenance needs attention.

Oaks Hyde Park Plaza is in a great location - handy to everything! Our one bedroom apartment was massive and fantastic value for money. We could not fault our stay there and will definitely stay again. Thank...
